ULC Bernardsville Cinema 3... a day ago

ULC Bernardsville Cinema 3... a day ago   Good evening everyone, Yesterday I posted a review of the film we are playing vindicating trump. To say we've received a lot of DMs would be an understatement. So I would like to clarify a few of the most common questions and concerns. *   *   * 3. Will name calling, blackmailing, threatening to cancel the theater etc get me to drop the film? No. When I opened my theater I had a simple goal. To share my love of film and moviegoing to every guest regardless of their background.  [Note: Apparently not all his patrons were delighted. This is my response.] Please keep doing what you're doing. And thank you for working with the +MorePerfectUnion Morristown Brickyard to show "Join or Die" as well as introducing me (at the late age of 70) to independent theater. I wouldn't cross the street, let alone drive to Bernardsville from Bethlehem, PA, to watch a Dinesh D'Souza film. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be show...

JOIN OR DIE (film)

I'm still attempting to build out the #ReunionAmerica concept and program. My current working goal is to rebuild social capital within and between demographically diverse constituencies. The strategy is to draw people into a community service projects that are essential concerns for everyone in a manner that allows them to temporarily put aside their politically polarized framing of an issue. This afternoon, a friend and I are going to see a screening of  Join or Die ,. a film arguing for the strong connection between voluntary organizations, social capital, and civic cohesion in a democratic society. This screening is being hosted by the  Morris...

THE PLAN

THE PLAN Now to Election Day: Campaign for Harris / Walz / Casey / Wild & others. Election Day: Work polls, Liberty High School Election Day + 1 to Inauguration Day + 1: #ReunionAmerica launch to do whatever I can do to help facilitate bipartisan social capital across our various cultural barriers. NOTE: Putnam ("Bowling Alone"): Networks have value. Nonviolent horizontal democratic networks communicate better, are more resilient, and are ultimately more powerful than violent, vertical, fascist hierarchies. And the earlier we engage such hierarchies, the greater the advantage. People - even Gandhi - wondered whether nonviolent civil resistance would have taken Hitler down. I suspect that in, say, 1942, the answer would have been "no." But sometime between 1922 and 1933? I think so. The problem the American people would have to overcome would be what doomed the Republicans: they did nothing, hoping someone else would take the risk (as Kinzinger and Cheney did...
